We have used Queenstown Garden Company for the last seven years to maintain our gardens at a large property in the Wakatipu Basin. Keeping our garden looking great year round was a priority to us as we rent out the house for nightly rentals. Being based in Auckland meant that we needed a reliable crew to work around bookings and without supervision. Our gardens were pronounced “near death” in November 2016 by a garden professional who declined to take on a revival programme saying it was a lost cause.
I found Liam and Tammy who leapt at the challenge, devised a rejuvenation plan and began immediately to breath life back into our bedraggled gardens. They resurrected our irrigation system, reassigned plants to more appropriate areas, cleared the dead vegetation and replaced plants where necessary.
The transformation is incredible and they have done it on a tightly managed budget. They are also a delight to have around and so highly professional we can’t praise them enough.
Liam and Tam are very hard-working, always being efficient and thorough in their assignments, and have advised us extremely well. They are highly knowledgeable about cultivating and pruning the native plants that we have on our section. Their wide ranging skills, including weed control, laying bark chips and gravel, landscaping, and installing irrigation systems, have meant that our whole property looks really good. The garden is easy to maintain as a result of their careful planning.
Liam and Tammy know their stuff when it comes to everything gardening. They do wonderful work at both properties they maintain for me and are always friendly to deal with plus keep me updated with everything. I would recommend them if you want to have a beautiful healthy garden to enjoy as that’s what they deliver.
